Ab Tak is a news aggregation and reading service. We fetch headlines from third-party providers, store approved items, and show them with categories, search, and (for registered users) bookmarks. Story order on the home page may be influenced by reading behaviour. That ranking is a system feature, not a separate labelled product.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features without notice. News availability depends on our sources, moderation, and technical limits.

• You must provide accurate registration details and keep your password confidential.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us if you believe it has been misused.
• We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts that abuse the service or these terms.

Do not scrape, overload, or attempt to break the site; do not reverse-engineer or misuse our APIs; do not post or inject unlawful content; and do not use Ab Tak to infringe others’ rights. Automated harvesting of our pages or APIs without permission is not allowed.

Articles, headlines, images, and full stories belong to their original publishers. Ab Tak typically shows a preview and a link to the source. We do not claim ownership of that third-party content.

The Ab Tak name, logo, and our own interface design belong to Shioft Digital Service Private Limited. You may not copy them for a competing product without permission.

If you believe content on Ab Tak infringes your rights, contact us with the URL, a description of the work, and your contact details so we can review it.

Headlines are provided “as is” from upstream sources. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or that a story will remain available. Ab Tak is not a substitute for the original publisher’s site. Opinions in articles are those of the source, not necessarily ours.

If you have an account, we may log clicks, opens, and reading time to adjust which stories appear first. Guests may have similar scores stored in a browser cookie. You can limit this by not logging in and/or clearing cookies, with the effect that the feed will be more generic.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shioft Digital Service Private Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss arising from reliance on news content, downtime, or unauthorised access. The service is provided without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in India shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
